The name Marzie was given by Martha’s mother-in-law, who suggested creating a marzipan cookie after tasting products from Silly Belgium, based in Jette in northern Brussels. The idea of the marzipan center came from this inspiration, paired with orange blossom to add a subtle and elegant touch to the recipe.
