Mistinguette is a summery cookie with dark chocolate chips and fresh raspberries, each bite offering a soft, slightly melting texture reminiscent of a brownie. Plant-based and naturally gluten-free, it is made with brown teff flour, achieving the perfect balance of indulgence and lightness.
The name Mistinguette was given by Cathy in honor of her sister Sylvie and her three daughters. It recalls their childhood spent in a downtown Brussels restaurant, where the little girls ran around and were affectionately nicknamed the Mistinguettes by customers and staff alike — a tender, joyful nod to their Brussels childhood and the lively energy that inspires this cookie.
Like the Kastar, Mistinguette uses 70% Van Dender dark chocolate for a deep, intense flavor. Fresh, fruity, and indulgent, this cookie is the queen of summer — best enjoyed before raspberry season comes to an end. (This cookie is seasonal)
